72/365 Pretty and pink and purple

I love flowers.  These are blooming like crazy on campus.

 I have been teaching lighting and this is a fine example of dappled lighting.  It is funny how the lighting changes the color of the bloom.  The warm sunlight makes the bloom look pink while the cool shadowed light makes the bloom look purple.

I shot this with an old Nikon 55 F3.5 macro and you can tell I have the lens stopped down due to the aperture shaped out of focus highlights.
