Jalen's baseball team won their division on Thursday night while I was in Auburn. Julie reported that Jalen was 5 for 5 batting and that in the 3rd inning he threw the first two batters out at 1st base and for the third out he caught a infield pop fly. That is why Coach Joe is running around the field carrying Jalen.
The second place team received their medals and then Jalen's team( Harriman Athletics) received their huge trophy.
All Photos by Julie Montgomery As I am sure you noted Jalen is wearing a Red Cap while everyone else is wearing the team colors black hats. Well Jalen's hat was missing at game time so he substituted a red HA hat HA being for Harding Academy or on this night Harriman Athletics.
