Branson- Church of Christ Weekend

Two weekends ago we went to Branson for the annual Church of Christ weekend @ Silver Dollar City. Here is the mandatory group photo of the kids at the sign at the park entrance. Just as we were entering the park on Saturday morning only 4 of our 7 season passes scanned. The elderly lady working the gate decided to help us out and issue us new cards that the scanners would read. I am not sure she had ever seen that computer that would issue the new cards but she was going to concur it and get us new cards that would scan. It only took 20 minutes.

Jackson and I stopped and watched the glass blower make a mug while the rest of our gang went through the gift shop.

Jackson loves the roller coaster in the kids area of the park. I think he rode it 4 or 5 times. This year there is a huge new kiddie ride area at SDC.

Julie took this photo of Jenna and I and the Krehs as we came back to the station after riding WildFire. Needless to say Jackson didn't ride this one because he doesn't ride anything that goes upside down.

Josie had a lot of fun hanging out with her bud Maddie Grace Watson. On Sunday morning after we had church with our group from College Church we went to the hotel lobby to get some breakfast. They had GRITS. We ate them out of Grits a couple of times. On one of the trips to get the boys more Grits they sat back down at the table and they started fighting over whose plastic spork was whose. Josie was watching as I sorted out whose spork was whose and all of the sudden she said "Boys- Build a bridge and get over it." Where do 4 yr olds learn things like that?

They built a bridge and got over the sporks.

Silver Dollar City had Mums everywhere for the Fall Fest. These were my favorite mum photos.

While the kids were riding the Tea Cups I was shooting the flowers and I found this Butterfly that looked like a dead leaf stuck to the side of a tree. We had an awesome weekend in Branson and I hope we get to go a couple of more times this year.

Glad to see you aren't lost somewhere in the world! Glad to see you had a great time in Branson. Beautiful photos of kids and flowers. I was about to reply on Cheryl Whilte's wall that it wouldn't do any good for her to find your blog because you had disappeared when I saw your comment that you had finally updated!
