Jalen and his football team are State Champions. They went 15-0. I am so proud of Jalen and this team. They have set a standard of excellence and at times restraint that will long be remembered. We mercy-ruled so many teams this year that the starters rarely played in the second half. It has been hard to watch the second and third-string play and not be able to score because we don't run the score up after the mercy rule is in effect. The final game was played in Little Rock at War Memorial Stadium. I enjoyed shooting the game with Josie on the sidelines with me. Having Jenna and Colby and Dad together for the night was also extra special. We also had Matt Roberts and his fiance, Amber Sherrill.
