You may wonder why this photo made the cut with the other two photos containing former HU presidents. Dr. McLarty asked for volunteers to tell what exciting things the students did this summer. This couple had gotten married over the summer and when Dr. McLarty asked their names he said both of their first names and held the microphone over for her to say her new last name. It was just a sweet moment between newlyweds.
