7-26-2013 Inspired by William Eggleston

This summer I discovered William Eggleston.  He is a big time photographer that lives in Memphis.  He is noted for his color photography and his ability to take common places and show their beauty.  I tend to like b&w photography but Eggleston's photos are just inspiring.  Nothing is more common in the south than a Walmart but the wet pavement and the strong sunset color contrasted against the strong green cast of the store lights is beautiful to me in an Egglestonesque way.
