We grew sunflowers this past summer. When they died I took some of the seeds and we replanted. This is the only replanted seed that grew. I cut this bloom because I didn't want the frost to kill it. The other odd thing about this type of sunflower is that it makes little blooms all down the stalk as well as the main bloom. Needless to say I love sunflowers.
