Bisons on National TV

Today the Bisons played the University's first ever Nationally televised game. The game was shown on CSTV. The Bisons beat Henderson State University 72-59. This game was Coach Jeff Morgans 250th career victory. The game was sold out and over 3000 were in attendance.
Dr. Burks was even in the spirit today with the Face Paint and standing and yelling with the Rhodes Rowdies.
During halftime, Harding honored members of the 1957-58 basketball team, the first intercollegiate team Harding fielded after an 18-year hiatus from competition. Seven of the original 12 players attended the 50th anniversary ceremony.

Jeff... good shots. And, it's good to see the Rowdies on the national game of the week.

Here's what's funny to me about the buildup to the Henderson game, though:

It's one of those events that was important because we were told over and over it was important. In reality, it was one of the worst games of the season to see, especially conference games. Sadly, the crowds (and especially the Rowdies) have been pretty much non-existent (by the standards we're used to) in much bigger games this season.
Henderson is now 0-12 in conference.
Shows the power of PR, though!
