Tank Daniels Interview

SEARCY - There is only one player from Arkansas who will play in Super Bowl XLII, and he did not wear red-and-white in college, he wore black-and-gold.

Harding University's Torrance "Tank" Daniels, in his second season in the NFL and his first with the New York Giants, will be a reserve linebacker and special-teams member on Feb. 3 when the Giants meet the undefeated New England Patriots.

Daniels was a four-year starter for Harding from 2002-05 and had 237 career tackles, including 34 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks. He also had 10 forced fumbles, seven interceptions, and four fumble recoveries. Following his senior season, Daniels earned AP Little All-America honors.

Daniels is the first Harding graduate to play in the NFL.
