This is the 1st photo ever taken. Joseph Niepce took this photo in 1826 with a camera obscura. The exposure was 8 hours so the sun light hit both sides of his terrace. The emulsion was made out of Bitumen of Judea which is kind of like asphalt. The photo was developed in lavendar oil.
