I don't get to see all of her games but I was so glad I got to go to this one. Coach Garner is really cool and lets me sit inside the fence right in front of the dugout so I don't have to battle with shooting through the fence. In fine Josie fashion she swung at the first pitch and smacked it right down the right field line.
I was really excited to see that double and I really don't think that Coach Garner was giving her the go to third sign but that Josie didn't stop Jo.
Josie has always been a good slider and I attribute that to her having two older brothers. If the boys were going to slide so was she and all that practice paid off as she slid right under the tag.
She scored on the next hit.
She also plays left field and has a pretty good arm.
Maybe her favorite part of this day was not the playing but seeing her friend AC.
AC or Anne Clayton and her parents live in Porto Rafti, Greece where they work at Harding's HUG campus.
AC, Josie and Claire
For this photo Josie stood on the first step of the bleachers so she would be taller than her friends.
